Briefing Sessions of
RHQ Settlement Support Program in FY 2008
Refugee Assistance Headquarters (RHQ) is now recruiting participants in the program held at the RHQ Support Center in Tokyo to support settlement of refugees who are recognized in Japan and their family members. Those who are interested in our Settlement Support Program, or who want to experience the Japanese language trial lesson are welcome to attend the briefing sessions on the following schedule. For those who wish to attend, please inform your (1) name, (2) language, and (3) phone number to the following offices.

● What is the Settlement Support Program?
RHQ is entrusted by the Government of Japan to offer the Settlement Support Program to the individuals who are recognized as refugees by the Ministry of Justice and their family members at the RHQ Support Center in Tokyo. The program consists of three components; (1) Japanese language education course, (2) guidance on life in Japan, and (3) vocational counseling service. The program is free of charge. Transportation expenses, living expenses and medical expenses are provided throughout the program. Free accommodations near the RHQ Support Center will be available for those who live far away from the Center.
