British Council Tokyo Centre Free English Course

The British Council is the United Kingdom's international organization for educational opportunities and cultural relations. The Tokyo Centre of the British Council kindly offers English course for free through the Refugee Assistance Headquarters (RHQ). For further information, please contact the following phone number. Only two persons are allowed to take free courses per term and a selection is going to be curried out in case there are more than two applicants.
Eligibility Indochinese Refugees, Convention Refugees, Persons in a process of refugee application (asylum seekers). (Please note that a person with a residential status is going to be given a priority.)
Number of persons accepted Two persons per term (10 weeks) (Please note that there is a limit of duration of free courses.)
Course Courses offered are the one with vacancy and appropriate to your English ability judged by the British Council’s placement test.The course is going to be offered two weeks after its start.
Tuition Tuition is free.Any fees (e.g. transportation, learning materials) other than tuition are paid by a student.
